Being a native Wyomingite and current member of the Wyoming House of Representatives, I am equipped to serve the citizens of the great state of Wyoming as a senator. I hope to use my financial leadership and the knowledge I have gained in many years of civic and political service to help the state through trying times.
I was elected to the Laramie City Council and elected to two terms as trustee of the Ivinson Memorial Hospital. I was also CEO of the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance for three years.
I was co-founder with Senator Nicholas in creating the Laramie Beautification Committee and have continued to serve on that organization for many years.
Having graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Business Administration, I have been actively involved with the only state university for many years. I served as Chair on the Board of the American Heritage Center for a number of years and, with my wife Kandi, am a life-time member of the UW Alumni Association.
I have served as a representative in the Wyoming State Legislature since 2017. I am currently on the Minerals, Economic Development and Banking Committee; The Corporations and Public Subdivisions Committee; and the Capital and Investments Committee.
