With the recent coronavirus pandemic and low energy prices, Wyoming has been hit hard. I believe it is important for the upcoming Wyoming legislature to support the unemployed citizens and schools of Wyoming in this hard time by encouraging economic growth.
The State of Wyoming does not need any more business closures. I hope to assist businesses in our state in order to maintain jobs for our citizens.
I believe it is important to provide unemployment assistance to those who have been furloughed or laid off due to COVID-19 or low energy prices until the markets rebound.
In this difficult time of COVID-19, I find it very important to give extra attention to keeping our hospitals and health care institutions open.
I will work to find solutions to the state revenue decline of approximately 1.5 billion dollars.
I want to keep the University of Wyoming and K-12 education from major financial cuts.
